EDA is a funny business. There are about 50,000 IC designers and every company like Oasys with a new product wants to reach them. EDAcafe is one of the sites that has a broad readership. Back in January, almost exactly a year ago, Gabe Moretti wrote a piece An Oasys grows in the EDA landscape. At the start of the new year, EDAcafe announced that it was the 5th most read piece published in 2010. It is nice to have a bit of quantitative data to go along with the anecdotal that there is a real groundswell of interest in Chip Synthesis and finding a new approach that scales to the enormous chips now being designed and planned for the most advanced process nodes.
